Richard Brown III is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a retired U.S. Marine of 20 years. Since acknowledging God's call to the gospel ministry in 1983, Richard has served the body of Christ in various capacities such as; evangelist, pastor, youth pastor, associate minister and Christian Education Department.
Over the years Richard has matured into a unique and dynamic minister, teaching and preaching the Bible with a strong "prophetic teaching" mantle and presenting God's Word with clarity, practical understanding and revelation knowledge.
Richard has been pastoring in Okinawa, Japan since 1990 and in November 1998 founded and established Agape Fellowship Ministries International, Inc., or AFMI. The primary emphasis of AFMI as a local church has been evangelism, discipleship, training and equipping God's people for world-wide ministry, spiritual transformation and church planting/pioneering. Under Richard's leadership Agape Fellowship has ministered to and served hundreds of military personnel and their families while stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
Additionally, Agape Fellowship has consistently ministered in the Japanese community through gospel concerts, children's and youth outreaches, church planting and partnerships with Japanese pastors.
Richard's passion for teaching, training and equipping led to the development of Agape Divinity School or ADS during the year 2000. Graduates of Agape Divinity School are pioneering churches and ministries in Japan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Florida; making an impact in their cities and regions for the kingdom of God.
Some of Richard's affiliations include:

Richard's mission is to evangelize, disciple, serve and equip all kinds of people, demonstrating God's divine "agape" love and acceptance, bringing transformation to people and churches globally. Thus fulfilling the apostolic mandate:
"Go...and teach all nations..." Matthew 28:19
